About this site

The author

Kepa Diez is a project manager with 15+ years in industrial engineering. He manages a ~€3M portfolio of capital-equipment projects (isolators, decontamination systems) for the pharmaceutical industry, work grounded in real WBS, budgets, planning and IQ/OQ qualification. With a mechanical engineering background (UPV/EHU) and years of multi-project management across manufacturing, he is now preparing for the PMP certification under the 2026 exam (ECO 2026 / PMBOK 8) — and building PM Tycoon, a study game, as the tool he wanted for himself. Independent; not affiliated with or endorsed by PMI.

Why only PMI sources

Every factual claim about the exam on this site traces to a publication by the Project Management Institute — the Examination Content Outline, the PMBOK® Guide, the Agile Practice Guide, the Code of Ethics and PMI's practice standards. Where PMI does not publish a figure (pass rates, per-format question counts), we say so instead of inventing one. Third-party prep content is never cited as authority.

What PM Tycoon is

PM Tycoon is a study game for the 2026 PMP exam: you run a custom-machinery company and every decision you face is anchored to a PMI-canon concept, with practice questions tracked against the ECO 2026 domain weights (People 33% / Process 41% / Business Environment 26%), in English and Spanish. Get it on Google Play.

PM Tycoon and this site are independent and are not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by the Project Management Institute.
